It is important to note that the Wisconsin Main Street Program and Mainly Manitowoc's emphasis is on the involvement community as a whole. Although the services mentioned on the home page are available only to the businesses within the Main Street Program Area, a strong downtown impacts the entire city. A healthy downtown attracts professionals, encourages residencies, enhances tourism, expands tax base, creates jobs, strengthens community prides, and more.

Mainly Manitowoc has raised an annual budget of $100,000 to $120,000. However, we are always seeking businesses and individuals that are interested in:

• Making financial pledges (to cover operating expenses) for a period of 3 years.
• Making in-kind contributions.
